Pheasant Tail: Size 16 is still the biggest taker of fish every season for me. I like a pattern with plenty of copper on the thorax to get it down quick or as this pattern with more pheasant tail fibers wraped on the thorax. Also carry copper bead head versions for bigger water. Fished in tandem with a green caddis it is deadly.
A version with an hare mask thorax is also very good.
